Spinach-Artichoke Dip is a creamy and cheesy classic appetizer that’s always a hit at parties or family gatherings. Packed with spinach, artichoke hearts, and a blend of cheeses, it’s perfect for dipping tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 can (14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a spicy kick
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in spinach, artichoke hearts, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Dip:
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly and sprinkle a little extra mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake:
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly with a golden-brown top.
Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.
Tips:
- Use fresh spinach instead of frozen: Sauté 2 cups of fresh spinach until wilted, then chop and drain excess moisture.
- For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
