Smash Burger Tacos: The Viral Recipe You Need to Try!

Smash Burger Tacos combine the best of both worlds—juicy, crispy-edged smash burgers served in a soft tortilla instead of a traditional bun. This viral recipe is quick, easy, and packed with flavor!


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional, for depth)
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 6 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for cooking)

Toppings (Optional):

  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced onions
  • Pickles
  • Burger sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard mix)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture:

    • In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Divide into 6 small balls (about 2-3 oz each).
  2. Press Beef onto Tortillas:

    • Place a ball of beef on each flour tortilla and press down firmly to flatten (like a smash burger).
