Pink Squirrel Cocktail: A Creamy & Retro Almond-Chocolate Drink

The Pink Squirrel is a creamy, nutty, and lightly sweet retro cocktail made with crème de noyaux, crème de cacao, and heavy cream. This elegant pink drink is perfect for a fun, vintage-inspired cocktail hour!


Ingredients:

  • 1 oz crème de noyaux (almond-flavored liqueur, gives the pink color)
  • 1 oz white crème de cacao (chocolate liqueur)
  • 2 oz heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • Ice (for shaking)

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Maraschino cherry

Instructions:

1. Shake the Cocktail:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add crème de noyaux, crème de cacao, and heavy cream.
  • Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until well chilled and frothy.

2. Strain & Serve:

  • Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a cherry.

Tips:

  • No crème de noyaux? Substitute with amaretto + a drop of grenadine for the pink color.
